Yoga Rhythm
Yoga Rhythm encompasses ‘vibration of life’ bringing yoga alive through practicing Yoga Based Sequences choreographed to music, Meditation, Mantra + Mudra applications and Breath work all threaded with an intention of your choice.
To ensure you leave feeling fully balanced in the heart, mind + body we apply the theory of the ‘Koshas’ (the 5 layers of the being): Physical Body (Annamaya), Breath Body (Pranamaya), Emotional Body (Mannomaya), Higher Wisdom Body (Vijnamaya), Bliss Body (Anandamaya) to the practice.
A true journey to self through the application of yoga. Often classes are accompanied with essences of sacred sound instruments especially to close e.g koshi chimes, hand pan drum, rain shaker and vocals. (This is a WHOLE BEING PRACTICE)
-
True Alignment Yoga
A wonderful opportunity to learn how to educate oneself on rebalancing the body through postural awareness using props, walls, belts, blocks. To reactivate forgotten muscles to support your skeletal system.
If we learn how to protect our bodies we can prevent our bodies from wear and tear, injuries and reduce illness within. Focusing on postures to bring balance to the brain, spine, shoulders, core, hips and knees.
This class would be of benefit to those suffering with Arthritis, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Mental Health but also for those wishing to prevent deterioration in the mind and body. True Alignment in your mind, heart + body. (This is a more PHYSICAL ANATOMICAL PRACTICE)
-
Vinyasa Flow
This is a familiar practice to many, enjoying a free flowing practice at a pace that is mindful, safe and brings harmony to the mind, body and spirit. A great way to start the day - lengthening, awakening all facets of the body, bringing strength, dynamic and challenge to oneself to push new boundaries.
Often the classes will have an intention to reflect the season, week for example or an intention on the body ie hip opening sequence ...every week the class has a different intention but with a similar structure and format to enjoy and witness progression. A typical class structure would include; Breathwork (Pranayama), Opening Sequences (Vinyasa Kramas), Sun Salutations and Variations, inversion (suited to all abilities), Arm Balance (optional) and Relaxation.

YinYang Yoga
Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice – bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. Yin and Yang are the Taoist concepts which describe the two relative qualities present in everything.
Yin is more internal, passive, cooling and downward. Yang is more external, dynamic, warming and upward. When these terms are applied in yoga, Yin Yoga is a slower practice where poses are passively held for longer.
It works on the deep, dense (Yin) connective tissues and joints in the body. Yang Yoga, in contrast, refers to a more active practice. This works on the (Yang) muscles and blood flow, building strength, stamina and flexibility. Yang styles of yoga are those with rhythm and repetition like Vinyasa Flow.

AcroYoga
AcroYoga is a fusion of yoga and acrobatics. It takes elements from yoga such as presence, connectedness, breath, and mindfulness. Mixes it with elements from acrobatics such as technique and athleticism. Acroyoga is a partner activity where you share your practice with others.
Acroyoga includes many types of (mostly recreational) partner and group acrobatics in which at least someone is lifted. As such, it also draws on traditions of circus arts, cheerleading, and Dance Acro. AcroYoga is more vigorous than many traditional forms of yoga as exercise and may lead to more injuries.

Mudra Magic
Mudra's are hand gestures, a mudra is a symbolic or ritual gesture or pose in Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. While some mudras involve the entire body, most are performed with the hands and fingers. The way we place our hands works with the energy lines of the body to create an energetic seal and either bring energy into the body or support the body to release.
Each month Charli will share with you various mudras according to the female Infradian Rhythm cycle to optimise wellbeing for women.
